Noortje’s work as a photographer throughout the years have lead to a big discovery: even the most ‘beautiful’ people, are insecure. As a photographer, Noortje strives to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible when they appear before her lens. When her ‘models’ can let go of their insecurities before her camera, she has succeeded in her mission. 

It gave her the idea for her podcast ‘Uniek’ (‘Unique) and Noortje received support from VRT and MNM to help realize this idea. In ‘Uniek’ Noortje helps people find what makes them unique in an interview and photographs those features. For ten weeks the results of those photographs where published in Billie magazine.
